Ingredients
Scale
Slider Components
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- ¾ pound thin-sliced deli turkey
- ¾ pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese
Butter Sauce
- ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tablespoon everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch casserole dish with foil and spray the bottom with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
- Slice Rolls: Without separating the rolls, slice them horizontally in half to create a top and bottom layer.
- Layer Bottom Rolls: Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the prepared casserole dish, forming the base.
- Add Turkey and Cheese Layers: Evenly layer the thinly sliced deli turkey over the bottom rolls, followed by a generous layer of Swiss cheese.
- Place Top Rolls: Cover the cheese with the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls, completing the slider assembly.
- Melt Butter Mixture: Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop. Once melted, stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until fully combined.
- Brush Butter Over Rolls: Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls. Allow the rolls to sit for 5 minutes so they absorb the flavorful butter.
- Cover and Bake: Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, which warms the sliders and melts the cheese thoroughly. Remove the foil during the last 5 minutes to allow the tops to brown slightly.
- Serve Warm: Remove from oven and serve the turkey sliders warm for best taste and texture.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding a slice of tomato or a leaf of lettuce inside the sliders before baking.
- If you prefer, substitute Swiss cheese with cheddar or provolone for a different taste profile.
- These sliders can be prepared a day ahead, assembled and refrigerated unbaked, then baked fresh before serving.
- Use foil to line the casserole dish to make cleanup easy and prevent sticking.
- Everything bagel seasoning adds a unique flavor, but you may adjust seasoning amounts to your preference or use garlic powder and sesame seeds as alternatives.
