  • Author: Elara
  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 1 cup 1x
  • Diet: Diabetic

Description

This easy homemade Sugar Free Condensed Milk uses just three simple ingredients to create a rich, creamy, and sweetened milk alternative without any added sugar. Perfect for keto or sugar-conscious diets, this recipe replicates the classic condensed milk flavor and texture using heavy cream, unsalted butter, and a powdered monk fruit and allulose sweetener blend. Simmered slowly to reduce and thicken, it’s a versatile ingredient great for baking, coffee, and desserts.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend

Instructions

  1. Melt the Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter completely to prepare for combining with the cream and sweetener.
  2. Add Cream and Sweetener: Pour in the heavy cream and add the Besti powdered monk fruit and allulose blend. Stir gently to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Simmer and Reduce: Bring the mixture to a boil, then immediately reduce heat to maintain a simmer. Let it cook gently for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching. The mixture should thicken, reduce in volume by about half, coat the back of a spoon, and pull away from the pan sides when tilted. Using a larger pan can speed up this cooking process.

Notes

  • Use a larger skillet to reduce cooking time by increasing surface area.
  • Stir occasionally to prevent the cream from burning on the bottom of the pan.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • This recipe is perfect for keto and low-carb diets as it contains no added sugar.
  • Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing the monk fruit sweetener blend to taste.
