Ingredients
Scale
Watermelon Popsicles Ingredients
- 6 cups cubed watermelon
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Prepare the blend: In a blender, place the cubed watermelon and fresh lime juice. Blend the mixture until it becomes completely smooth, ensuring no chunks remain for a uniform texture.
- Fill the molds: Pour the blended mixture into popsicle molds, leaving about ½ inch of space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
- Freeze: Cover the molds to prevent freezer odors from affecting the popsicles and insert popsicle sticks if the molds don’t already include them. Freeze the mixture until fully set, which takes about 4 hours or preferably overnight for best results.
Notes
- To remove the popsicles from the molds easily, run warm water briefly on the outside of the molds.
- For an extra pop of flavor, you can add fresh mint leaves or small chunks of other fruits before freezing.
- Ensure the watermelon is well ripened for maximum sweetness and flavor.
- These popsicles are naturally low in calories and contain no added sugars.
