- Beat until smooth: Mix on low speed until the mixture becomes smooth and fully combined, making sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to ensure an even blend.
- Add confectioners’ sugar gradually: Slowly add the confectioners’ sugar about one cup at a time, continuing to beat on low speed until each addition is incorporated. This prevents the sugar from flying out of the bowl and helps achieve a smooth consistency.
