Instructions

  1. Whisk Matcha: In a measuring cup or bowl, add 2 teaspoons of matcha powder. Pour in 1 to 2 tablespoons of hot water and vigorously whisk until the matcha fully incorporates and forms a slightly thick paste.
  2. Add Water and Chill: Pour in the remaining 1 cup of warm water and stir to combine. Transfer the mixture to the refrigerator or freezer for about 15 minutes to chill thoroughly.
  3. Prepare Glasses: Fill two glasses with ice cubes, then pour your milk of choice into each glass until about 3/4 full. If desired, add simple syrup to sweeten.
