  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Final Addition

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare Honey Butter Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, honey, dark brown sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon. Microwave briefly just until butter is melted and the mixture can be stirred easily. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined to form a smooth coating.
  2. Combine with Ramen and Nuts: Break apart the ramen noodles into smaller pieces, discarding the seasoning packets or saving them for another use. Add the broken ramen pieces, sliced almonds, and dried cranberries into the honey butter mixture. Stir gently but thoroughly until every piece is evenly coated with the sweet mixture.
  3. Bake the Mix: Pour the coated mixture onto a lightly greased baking sheet, spreading evenly. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 325°F (163°C). Bake for 30 minutes, stirring the mixture every 10 minutes to prevent burning and to ensure even cooking.
  4. Cool the Snack Mix: After baking for 30 minutes, remove the tray from the oven and let the mix rest for 5 minutes. Stir one final time to break up any clusters and even out the mix. Let it cool completely at room temperature before adding the last ingredient.
  5. Add White Chocolate Chips: Once the mix is fully cooled, stir in the white chocolate chips evenly. Transfer the snack mix into an airtight container to store. Keep it at room temperature for up to one week or freeze in sealed bags for several months to maintain freshness.
