Scale
Main Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 3/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 5–6 cups cold water (taste and adjust)
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Raspberry Puree: In a blender, blend the raspberries with 1 cup of water until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, creating a smooth raspberry syrup.
- Mix Lemonade Base: In a large pitcher, combine the raspberry syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and sugar. Stir well until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Adjust Dilution: Add the remaining 4 to 5 cups of cold water to the pitcher and mix thoroughly. Taste the lemonade and adjust the water quantity based on your desired strength and sweetness.
- Serve: Pour the raspberry lemonade over glasses filled with ice cubes. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh raspberries if desired for an attractive presentation and extra flavor.
Notes
- You can use frozen raspberries if fresh ones are not available; just thaw them before blending.
- Adjust the sugar depending on your sweetness preference or substitute with a sweetener of choice.
- For a sparkling version, replace some or all of the water with sparkling water.
- Make sure to strain the puree well to avoid seeds in the final drink.
- Keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days for best freshness.
