  • Author: Elara
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

This Baked Brie recipe is a warm and gooey appetizer featuring soft Brie cheese topped with fresh garlic, thyme, Italian seasoning, and drizzled with honey. Baked until melted and bubbly, it’s perfect for serving as an elegant starter or a comforting snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheese

  • 8 ounces Brie cheese

Toppings

  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon minced fresh thyme
  • 1 pinch Italian seasoning

Drizzle

  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Prepare the oven and pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an oven-safe skillet that’s slightly bigger than your Brie wheel to prevent sticking.
  2. Slice the Brie: Take the 8 ounces of Brie and slice ½ to ⅔ of the way down into approximately 1-inch slices. Rotate the Brie 90 degrees and slice again, forming diamond-shaped pieces.
  3. Arrange and top the Brie: Place the sliced Brie pieces into the prepared skillet. Evenly sprinkle 2 teaspoons of minced garlic, ½ teaspoon of minced fresh thyme, and a pinch of Italian seasoning over the cheese.
  4. Drizzle honey: Drizzle 2 tablespoons of honey evenly over the top of the Brie and toppings.
  5. Bake the Brie: Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 13-15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and is slightly bubbly.
  6. Serve immediately: Remove from the oven and serve warm as a delicious appetizer or snack.

Notes

  • Use a high-quality Brie cheese for the best flavor and melting quality.
  • Adjust the amount of garlic and thyme based on your taste preferences.
  • Serve with crackers, slices of baguette, or fresh fruit for a complete appetizer.
  • Keep an eye on the cheese as it bakes to avoid overcooking and splitting.
  • To make serving easier, use small spoons to scoop melted Brie onto accompaniments.
